| The Mush Ramp in Cupertino, California was the only decent vert ramp in the San Jose area for a couple of years in the mid-80's. It was in a space between a group of houses in a creek bed and for the time, it was big and wide. The key master was Pete Ha, who I hadn't talked to in over ten years until very recently. Pete now goes by the name Pete Park. Other kids in the neighborhood who helped and generally contributed to the scene were Dave Carnie, Frank Ha, Emily and Kirk Hobson, Thomas the freestyler, Dave and Vern Peters, Rob Bingham, and more. I was good freinds with Pete and was lucky enough to be around for some amazing sessions. Mush Ramp was where I really realized I wasn't ever going to be a good vert skater and where I shot over 300 rolls of film, well on my way to mediocrity in photography. There will be more photos added to this site soon, whenever I can dig them up... | ||||||||

Greg Aguilar, channel plant. I probably caught it too late, I think it might've been a sad plant...
