The debut ten-song album from Southern California's Contribution asks questions very directly. What Is Your Contribution? With positive messages of hope and joy, even as they ask tough questions about some of the ugliest things in the world, Contribution doesn't shy from challenges or opportunities. The songs on What Is Your? cover subjects varying from current conditions in the United States (Wake Up America) to extremely personal politics (Live Learn Die), and from social outlooks (What Have You Got?) to the state of popular culture and where it emerges from (Contribution). Another song, Become Human, confronts the difficulty and severity of being an honest human being, preserving humanist concerns like truth, consideration, and respect for life.
