They wrote and recorded one song and never played a show before breaking up in late 2003.Tom: Biohazard (NorCal); Shanksmare; Jack's Van; DS1; Two-Stroke Boner. Biohazard was Tom's first band, in the early 80s, and the other guys were Joe Mendez, Jeff the Hessian. Joe dated DeeDetroit from UXA, and then later played with UXA. Hot Topic Gannon was the manager of the Maui Hot Topic; and Nick Kubica had too much to drink one day, his wherabouts are now unknown. Jack's Van was named after Jack Kevorkian's '74 VW Bus. They were Adam Boyd, Jesse Breckels, and Tom. DS1 was spazcore band in SLO--that's San Luis Obispo to you. Two-Stroke Boner was another version of Jack's Van--the same lineup with different music. Tom was also in a riot grrrl band that covered a Fluf song, but he can't remember the name of the band.Hagop: Worked World, Vox Populi, Sumpter's Sessions, Sten Guns. Worked World was Neil Blender, Eddie Glass, and Hagop. Neil and Eddie went on to form Olivelawn with O. and Mike Olson. Neil left Olivelawn and was replaced by Jonny Donhowe, later of Fluf and Jalopy. Eddie later formed Fu-Manchu, and then Nebula. O. went on to form Fluf, and also played in the Royal Leis and currently he plays bass in Reeve Oliver. Vox Populi was Hagop, David Farrow, and Clem Coleman, in Philadelphia via Italy. Don't ask. Sumpter's Session was Dave Sumpter along with Eddie and Hagop, and was a jazz rock band. Sten Guns was Lance Mountain and Lance Mountain, Jr, along with Mark Waters. Lance was in Republic with his friends Yvette and Louie and someone else. Hagop played in a later version of Republic, after meeting Lance during the Whittier Skate City days. Erik Jeuden and Eric Castro also played in Republic at some point, as did Hagop, in a later version.Mark: Nocturnal Emissions; Turnover; Sten Guns; Radio Antagonista Nocturnal Emissions never played an actual show, but was Mark with Chris Harmount, Bryan Cox, and Todd McNair. Todd went on to form Package (many years later.) Turnover was Mike and James, formerly of ManMade. Sten Guns was Lance Mountain and Lance Mountain Jr., and Hagop. Radio Antagonista was Gio, Yesenia, Roger, Yvette, and Mark. Everyone in Radio Antagonista went on to form new bands, but the names aren't listed here to protect the innocent. |
